My boss has really crossed the line this time. When you're talking to a therapist, and she asks you how long you've put up with this abuse, its a bit of an eye-opener.

So. I'm offcially looking. Not *talking* about looking. Not wailing about how i *ought* to be looking but some how can't find my motivation, Mr.DeMille.

Looking. I updated the contact info in for the various business in my resume today, and i fired off an email to my old art director (who quit this place back in 2000) and asked if i could use him as a reference. We'll see what he says.

So if you hear of anything, do let me know. I'll be posting my resume here later.

I confess I'm primarily seeking work at design firms or ad agencies with multiple clients, rather than a position in an "in-house" art department. (with execptions for say, large media outlets like discovery.com or something.) I've got 18 years experience in design/advertising, a design degree, loads of print experience and some web background.

I wish I knew of something offhand, babe. Howevahhh . . . I do know of someone who works for Discovery Communications (in IT, I think), and perhaps he has good access to in-house listings or contacts. Will write you further about this.
