for those keeping score at home...

we made it home intact.

what a wondeful too-freaking-short-where-dear-gawd-did-the-time-go day at faire.

why is it that last day seems to fly by at the speed of light?

anyway...I managed to lock the doors on the car, expost facto faire... because I *swear* that i thought that J had his belt on when he went off to the priv for a few. (umm he didnt) So we got to spend 2 + hours waiting , first for he lock smith to show up, and then for him to actually *sucessfully * break into the car.

Thank god virgovirago and dave_lister hung out wih us to keep us sane. (and then ani_moore came over to loan us the warm interior of her car. ( i did at least mange to grab the cell before i locked us both out of the car, and was therfore able to call the dinner folk at FR's to tell then why we wern't there.)

*sigh* so no dinner for us... just beef jerky and diet red bull (*shudder*) from the gas station to fortify us no our way home.

but we are home safe now, us and our shmanchy wooden stool from Dan the Master Joyner. *G*
