another day at work...
May. 7th, 2007 09:34 pmnothing really new to report there. *sigh*
Tonite, 3RR & I did battle with some of the trees in the yard. Regular residents were trimmed. Uninvited squatters (like the mulberry trying to hide unsucessfully in te overgrown azaleas) were *evicted.*
A mini-Cooper sized pile of biomass lies at the curb. *pant* *pant* There is still a sizeable mulberry tree growing down by the wall in the back corner. It's in a "not sure if its ours or the neighbor's" spot up against the retaining wall. It needs to come out, because if it gets large (as mulberries are prone to do) it will *destroy* that end of the wall. *sigh* So we'll have to open negotiations with our backyard neighbors on the topic of Making It Go Away.
Grilled burgers (no buns) and green beans tonite. Half of a pint glass of Scrumpy left my brains rather spinny, so a bath seemed like the Next Good Thing. And I even threw in one of the Lush bath bombs, so now I smell all yummy.
Speaking of smelling yummy, http://www.femaledictions.com/ has lots of nifty sounding scents *and* will make soaps and such in *all* sorts of shapes and scents. *droool* Skulllll soapsss!
It was a good weekend overall *smooches*, with some sad parts. It was good to see and meet various folks, I just wished very much it would have been for happier reasons. :( ***extralargehugs****
Dinner on Sunday was particular highlight. **hugs** Icecreamraptorsaurus!
