weekend update!

Saturday I spent all day working on my latest large freelance project, going back and forth in phone meetings with the client. Went out for social time on Saturday nite. *g*
On Sunday morning I did more work, and did more phone meetings, before hopping in the car and driving off to BiGodWestVirginia to Take Big Daddy![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
macdobhran up on his kind offer to go Harley ridin'. Whee!
The weather was fabulous! Sunny, not too cool, not too warm. We tooled all over the local countryside, up to the historic area of Harper's ferry, taking in the local sights of horses, cows and men making hay with large combines. *G* We stopped for a sodypop and a snack at a generically named joint called: "the Pub". Then we tooled back to the house along the Shennadoah, looking at the folks out tubing down the river.
macdobhran was very kind to cater to my fear of cars by sticking to the back roads, tho later he explained to me that they have thier own dangers, by way of blind turns and sloppy drivers. I totally trust *his* driving, it's the other people in cars what scare the bejayus out of me.
But once I relaxed, *G* I'm told i did better at remembering to use the backrest to tell me where my body needs to be in the turns. Practice practice!
Today i did my exercise walkies, and spent part of this morning working on my project. Most of this up coming week will be spent working on the project, as it *must* be finished and off to the printer before I go in for outpatient girly surgery on the 10th. So not much availble social time for me between now and the client coming over on sunday for the last go-over. *sigh*
Oh, and After watching people play with one at my party, and after years of enjoyingkaliopi's fine ice cream efforts, 3ravensringo ran out on Sunday and bought an Icecream maker. The bowls are freezing as we speak. Homemade splenda icecream, here we come!
