mixed bag

No i havent actually done any cleaning yet, as i've been sitting here catching up with the last 24 hours of ElJay. yoiks.

So yes, i do have the day off ,and i am going to have to get off the bedammed computer in a moment so that i can actually accomplish something other than sitting here staring at the CRT.

but i did find a lovelrly article about ren faire in beatrizwench's journal
it rocks hard in that for once, on some level, a "civilian" writer actually seems to Get It.

Its been a busy week, last nite my sister & I went out to have a last "girly" dinner before she and her family move to Illinois at the end of this month. *sigh* Dealing, but it's not always easy. It was lovely, and the theme for the evening was "meat me!". *G* Texas de Brazil with thier cute men in goucho outfits who slice you some meat at the table... *G* yum.

this monday night, J& I are Babysitting the Adorable nephew. *G* Doh. i just remembered that i have the day off so i don't have to worry about getting there on time. Possible lunch date that day as well yay!

Next week is the trip w/ T down to NCRF for to hang with the NC homies. *G* Faaaaaaaar. Farrrr is good.
